چکیده
The Λ parameter on the anisotropic lattice, the spatial and temperature coupling constant gσ, gτ and their derivative with respaect to the the anisotropy parameter ξ are studied perturbatively for the class of improved actions, which cover tree level Symanzik's, Iwasaki's and QCDTARO's improved actions. The η(= gτ /gσ) becomes less than 1 for Iwasaki's and QCDTARO's action, which is confirmed nonperturbatively by numerical simulations. Derivatives of the coupling constants with respect to the anisotropy parameter , ∂gτ /∂ξ and ∂gσ/∂ξ, change sign for those improved actions.

Charm physics continues to pose difficulties for lattice QCD simulations. The systems are significantly relativistic [1,2] causing problems for the NRQCD approach, and have amQ ≃ O(1) causing significant discretisation effects in the heavy Wilson quark approach. We present the results of a simulation using the tadpole improved clover action and perform the analysis using the Fermilab [3] interp...

We report on some attempts to use lattice QCD to investigate topics in strong interaction phenomenology which are usually interpreted in terms of soft Pomeron exchange.

We present a combined analysis of SESAM and T χL data for the flavor singlet axial coupling G 1 A of the proton, which is very helpful to stabilize the disconnected signals at small quark masses. From connected and disconnected contributions we use the tadpole improved renormalization constant ZA and obtain G 1 A = 0.21(12).
